I like this quote because it stems from the belief that you should assume in business, as in life, that relationships are there to be built and that interactions are often not one-off.
There have been many instances I can point to in my own life where a simple act has had a ripple effect down the line…
Some people call this the butterfly effect, others attribute it to karma. Either way I find it good practise to assume you’re going to see / work with / interact with people on an ongoing basis – so don’t screw them for every last ounce this time around… They may not notice, but they certainly won’t forget it if you do!
